The ceramic plunger provides the precision sealing surface required for high-pressure water delivery, helping maintain smooth reciprocating motion, consistent pressure output, and long seal life. Replace this assembly when the plunger surface is chipped, grooved, cracked, or contributing to premature dynamic seal wear.

Service tip: Always inspect the dynamic seals, rod seals, seal carrier, and high-pressure cylinder when replacing a ceramic plunger. A damaged seal surface or worn support component can quickly shorten the life of a new plunger assembly.
